Not very good

I don't like this submission at all. It's crap and it seems like there was no effort put into it. Yeah...it's a joke, but couldn't you have said that in the comments? And why did you name it NewgrounDS? The only relation to NG was the Handbag loop and there is no mute button so I can stop it when I get bored of it. Also, when I press the power button, I expect everything to be off. The screen just changes to red when I press it; nothing else happens. I want to see the sequel, however, just to see the improvements made.

Ok. Lets start off, i did say it was a joke in the comments - " Hope you like it (a nice joke XD)". Second, i put plenty of effort into this. Third, I called it NewgrounDS because it was a sort of 'sim' or whatever of a DS on newgrounds. I completely forgot about a mute button, i'm sorry about that(the song was put in about 5 minutes before i submitted it). Press the power 9 or 10 times and something comes up, thats the point of it. And I can make a serious one, which i'm doing in the sequel - NewgrounDS Lite. I made this the joke one because it's the older one which isn't as good as the lite (yet i don't have a lite YET :/). Phew. Hope you understand now.

Awesome game...

...but clicking on thed ammo pile every shot got pretty annoying. Other than that, this was awesome!

TheMillz responds:

Well I wanted to closely follow ( I guess you can call it " my idol " ) the game "cemetary, just with improved graphics. If you play that game, you will see that it really captures the FEEL of having some dink-ass weapon to fend off hoardes of living coarpses. Good stuff.

I love reading these reviews, keep 'em coming. Also, thanks again to the coder of this game, Bernd Ameel, because without his coding, this game wouldn't have been made so good. Serious, my coding skills are....well, I have none. Thanks again for playing. :D Hope this thing does good with the NewGrounds guys, frontpage would be sweet as hell.

Good!

This is a great game but, I think, it's hard to move.
9/10 4/5!

7IsUnlucky responds:

Okay. How long ago did you start playing? Because I made the blue ball move faster.

Ok...

It's a good game, but it needs some levels, the thing where you can eat the ghosts, and high scores.
5/10

need to know-music

I want to know how you use multiple sounds in a movie without making them run into each other.

Example:
I'm making a game where I want the menu music to go on forever (or 65535 times) but when the user presses a button to go to the actual game, it stops the menu music and starts the game music.

Musee responds:

Oh that's easy. When the game starts in the first frame type in the following actionscript;
'stopAllSounds();'
Then in the frame after put you're music in.

-OR-

For the button that leads into the game type in the following actionscript;
'on (release) {
play();
}'
Then on the frame after where the music should end to go to the next scene, or you could put in some actionscript to make it go to the scene where you put the game, anyway... On that frame on the layer where you put your music, insert a keyframe(F6) then in the Sound Sync options in the properties bar set it to stop. Like I did in the tutorial.
Tell me if you didn't understand any of this.:D
